Getting Started

How do I get started?

Complete the Determine Fit form. You'll receive a response within 24-48 hours to schedule an initial consultation.

What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is a 15-minute call to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine if working together is a good fit.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. The initial 15-minute consultation is complimentary.

Who is this for?

High-performing professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and individuals who value structure, efficiency, and measurable results.

Who is this not for?

This is not crisis therapy. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.

Approach & Process

What is Emotional Agency™?

A proprietary 12-week framework that integrates cognitive and emotional intelligence. It's skill-based development designed for high-performing individuals.

How is this different from traditional therapy?

This is structured, goal-oriented work. Each session has a clear agenda, measurable outcomes, and actionable next steps. No open-ended exploration.

What's your theoretical orientation?

Primarily cognitive-behavioral with integration of systems theory, attachment theory, and performance psychology principles.

Do you assign homework?

Yes. Progress requires work between sessions. Expect practical exercises and skill-building assignments.

How long are sessions?

50 minutes.

How often do we meet?

Weekly during the initial 3-month program. After completion, you can choose monthly or bi-weekly sessions.

Fees & Payment

How much does it cost?

$950/month for the initial 3-month program (4 sessions per month). After completion, ongoing sessions are $150/month for one session or $250/month for two sessions.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers.

Do you accept CareCredit?

Yes. More information can be found on their website.

Can this be a business expense?

Yes. Coaching services may be deductible as a business expense. Consult with your tax advisor.

What is your cancellation policy for sessions?

You can cancel and reschedule as often as you like, as long as you use your 12 sessions in 12 weeks during the initial program. After the program, you can cancel and reschedule as long as you use your session(s) in the same month as your payment.

What is your cancellation policy for payments?

The 3-month program auto-cancels after 3 months. After the program, payments are month-to-month and can be canceled anytime.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final.

Why 3 months minimum?

Consistency over time produces results. It's no different here than going to the gym.

Logistics

Are sessions in-person or online?

All sessions are conducted online via Zoom.

What states are you licensed in?

Texas. You must be physically located in Texas during sessions.

What time zones do you work with?

All time zones. Sessions are scheduled based on Central Time.

What are your availability hours?

Monday through Friday, typically between 9 AM and 5 PM Central Time. Some evening slots may be available.

How do I schedule appointments?

After your initial consultation, you'll receive a scheduling link to book sessions directly.

Can I contact you between sessions?

No. All communication happens during scheduled sessions. This maintains clear boundaries and ensures focused, productive work.

Do you work with individuals?

Yes. Individual therapy is the primary service offered.

Do you work with couples?

Yes. Couples therapy follows the same structured approach with a focus on communication patterns and relationship dynamics.

Do you work with business partners?

Yes. Business partner counseling addresses communication, conflict resolution, and partnership dynamics.

Do you provide coaching services?

Yes. Coaching services are available for clients who don't require clinical therapy but want performance-oriented mental training.

What issues do you specialize in?

High-functioning anxiety, executive performance, entrepreneurial stress, relationship patterns, boundary setting, and personal development for high achievers.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. As a therapist, I cannot prescribe medication. If medication is needed, I can provide referrals to psychiatrists.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. All sessions are confidential with limited exceptions required by law (risk of harm to self or others, child or elder abuse, court order).

Are sessions recorded?

No. Sessions are not recorded.

How is my information stored?

All client information is stored securely in HIPAA-compliant systems with encrypted data protection.

Will you talk to my employer?

No, not without your written consent.

Results & Expectations

How quickly will I see results?

Most clients report noticeable shifts in perspective within 3-4 sessions. Sustainable behavior change typically develops over 8-12 weeks.

What if I don't feel like it's working?

Address this immediately in session. Progress requires open communication about what's working and what isn't.

Can I end therapy early?

The initial 3-month program is a commitment. After completion, you can adjust or discontinue at any time.

What happens after the 3-month program?

You can continue with ongoing monthly or bi-weekly sessions, or discontinue services. Many clients transition to monthly check-ins for maintenance and continued growth.
